Comfort Food

Food is very important to me and i absolutely love to eat.  I eat a ridiculous amount of food and I would definitely be obese if I did not play soccer.  I will eat pretty much everything, and I am always excited to try new foods.  A few weeks ago I tried shrimp tempura sushi and I thought it was delicious.  Most people would not try certain foods, but it doesn't matter to me.  I really like sushi and I always get my friends to try it, but they never do.  I do not understand why people say they don't like a food if they have never tried it.  You cannot base the taste of food on the way it looks or smells.  I always try food no matter what because I could be missing out on something delicious if I don't try it.  
I do not really have a specific comfort food.    If I am stressed I normally just eat anything I can get my hands on.  A lot of people do not eat when they are stressed, I am exactly the opposite.  I do not stop eating when I am stressed.  My mom does not keep a lot of junk food in our house, so I very rarely eat ice cream or chips.  If I am looking for a snack I normally eat a granola bar or make myself a bowl of soup.  I have been obsessed with soup lately; I have been eating it for breakfast and sometimes for dinner too.  I love soup and how there is so many different kinds and now that the weather is starting to get cold, the soup really hits the spot.  Another thing I really like to eat is subs or sandwiches.  I love how there is so many layers of different things like meat, lettuce, tomato, onions, and bread.  I love biting into it and tasting everything in my mouth at once.  
Food always makes me feel better, but only good food.  I hate eating fast food like McDonalds or Burger King.  After I eat there my stomach always feel terrible and I never have any energy.  If I am looking to get something fast to eat, I would much rather go to Wawa and get a sub.  I always feel so much better about myself when I eat something healthy.  Especially now that soccer is over and it is bowling season I have to really watch what I eat.  Everyone on the bowling team gets french fries from the snack stand, but I try not to eat them.  They always smell so good, but I know if I eat them I will feel bad about myself afterwards.  
Food is a very important because everyone needs food to live, but eating the wrong foods can lead to bad things.  I try to eat healthy because I know that twenty years from now I will regret it if I eat badly now.  Once in a while is okay, but going to McDonald's on a daily basis is not good.  I do not have a specific comfort food, but having good food gives me comfort and always makes me feel better when I am stressed.
